  This week each year group have started walking the equivalent distance to a country in the commonwealth. Year 5 are walking to Tanzania

  The children have experimented with wire and geometric shapes to create a mobile based on the work of Alexander Calder.

  In Science, 6.4 created baby reebops.
• Learning Muscle Moments
  Today we had to be strategic in maths, when problem solving.
• It's like we haven’t been away.
  Year 5 have started a new topic in mathematics today.
• Glowing snowmen
  We have made snowmen this week with glowing noses.
• It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas☃️❄️
  Year 5 have enjoyed sharing their Christmas meal with each other.
• Christmas lunch
  There was a lovely Christmassy feel in the lunch hall and classrooms.
• The Polar Express
  Year 6 have created a beautiful display in the entrance hall, based on The Polar Express.
