Times Tables Rock Stars

Each week you will be completing regular times tables practice. It is important that you do this little and often. You will be set a certain number of levels to complete each week, which can be found in the maths homework section of your Learning Journal.

Homework - Current

All homework is now on Showbie. Check your Learning Journals for when homework is handed out and when it is due back. 

Arithmetic and Reading Skills- Follow the instructions on Showbie and complete your homework in your homework book. 

TT Rockstars- Your login information is in your Learning Journals. You should complete this at least 3 times a week, for a minimum of 5 minutes per login.  

All children at HGJS are expected to read each day. You should record the text you are currently reading each week, in your Learning Journal. You will also have a shared reading book to read on Showbie, with fluency and questions to answer. There will also be a weekly non fiction text linked to your learning that week.

Spelling- Children who have spellings in their Learning Journals will also have a spelling task to complete. They will have completed an example in their homework books. 

Make sure you ask your teacher for help if you are unsure about any of the homework tasks you have been set.
